A Memorable Experience

Well, this is it. This is the end of my OJT experience at a certain company. In my previous blog entry, I wrote my sentiments as a trainee. Now, I will write my overall feelings for my dear company.

I did not realize how I enjoyed being a trainee there until I was saying my goodbyes to the people. I wanted to thank each of them for all the happy moments and for giving me the opportunity to become part of their lives even just for a little while. They may not be able to read this blog but at least, I can write here what I cannot say to them in person.

To my immediate supervisor, Sir Allan, thank you for everything. Thank you for giving me the works I had to document and for being there to supervise my work. Thank you for signing my OJT requirements and thank you for touring me in one of the substations. I had a great time being a trainee in that department.

To Sir Jimboy, thank you also for being the first person to give me a work. Thank you also for supervising my work. It was great meeting you.

To Sir Jesse, a big thanks for being the person who always talks to me. In that department, you were the one who talked to me often and gave me pieces of advice that will be useful in life. I was awed when I knew you were a civil engineer (cause that's what I dream of becoming someday... hahaha). Thank you for the effort of talking to me even if I my replies were just nods. I appreciate the simple talks we had and rest assured, I will keep in mind all the advice you gave me.

To Sir Migs, thank you for making me laugh every time you talk. You may not know it, but every time you share a story or a joke to the group, I always hear your voice (because it's so loud, really) and laugh silently. Thank you for giving me the chance to meet you.

Sir Jed, thank you for being an inspiration to me. You may not also know it, but your mere presence completes my day in the office. I look in the direction of your working area but all I see is a hard hat with your name on it. Ha ha ha. (Might as well write it here because you can't read it anyway. :)

Thank you also to Ma'am Emiere, Ma'am Raqy, Sir Ryan, Sir Mark, Sir Carlo, Sir Jerome and to all the engineers of PSDD. :)

In all, my experience was worthwhile. Although I sometimes complain in my mind that the works given to me were not related in my course, I was also somehow thankful because  I get to know ideas and concepts outside accounting. (When I saw the complex and complicated work these engineers do, my respect and admiration to them shot up. )

All the experiences will forever be cherished.

I walked this hallway on my first day. And I pass by again on my last. :)
